Saturday/Sunday Improver Group

Information Evening & Registration

17th September 2016 @ 5pm

An information and registration evening will be held on Saturday, 17th September at

Coral Leisure Centre commencing @ 5pm for children wishing to join the above group.

Club officials will be available on the evening to assist with enquiries and Club registration.

Club Membership Fees (Annual): €100 for an individual member and €150 for family membership.

Session fees (in addition to membership fees): €5 per session.

The first swimming session for the above group will commence on Sunday 18th September at 6pm.

Membership fees are unchanged from last year.

Membership Fees:

Child: €100

Family: €150

We do not operate a waiting list for membership.

The Club is a voluntary organization and none of its teachers or coaches

is paid for the work they do.

 

Club activities typically run from September to the end of June

Tuam Swimming Club has been promoting swimming in the Tuam area since the Club was founded in 1950.

The Club season runs from September to the end of June each year.

The Club’s Officers are:

The Club coaches are Enda Burke, John Brennan, Helen Kealy, Celia Davin, Joe Long, Aidan Burke, Timmy Begley, Helen Waters, Marka Gilhooley, Leonie Gavin, Lisa Heffernan, Kieran Hennessy

The following swimmers are catered for:

Children able to competently swim one length of the pool (25m) can attend on Saturday and / or Sunday evenings from 6:00p.m to 7:00p.m.

Children who are competent swimmers and who are interested in training for competitive swimming may also attend on Saturday and Sunday evenings from 6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. when the Club has the use of all six lanes.

Children who have competed in galas will be assigned other training times according to their abilities. This year the club’s competitive swimmers will be divided into an A and a B squad.
